Drop earrings with oval domed top and post fittings with reeds of speckled Agate.

In this example the domed tops are oval, made in gold with post and butterfly backs

Item details:

• Oval domed tops and ferrules in 18K yellow gold.
• Stones: Thin reeds of speckled Agate possibly from Montana in the USA.
• Post and butterfly fittings.
• Height approximately 80mm.

Drop earrings with triangular domed top and post and butterfly fittings.

In this example the domed tops are rounded triangular forms, made in silver with post and bell-shaped ear nuts. The stones are Druzy, which is a silicate crystalline structure which forms on the inside of a Geode or fissure in a rock. Its colour is the result of different minerals present when the crystals were formed.

Whilst this pair of earrings does not have the same style of tops as the rest, I have included them as this is one of my favourite top fittings from a previous design and it works well with these briolette cut droplets.

• Stones: Briolette cut droplets of Prehnite, a light green coloured stone with internal feathering. Warm to the touch.
